Going to Everest Base Camp (EBC) was all I could think of after my friend narrated his awesome journey to me. We were a team of 25 people. The trek was back-breaking but splendid at the same time. I drank in the view and captured it in my heart.

We started our journey from Gorakshep to EBC. After walking continuously on the demanding terrain for days, we were quite used to the snow and wind. But an Earthquake! along with an avalanche, never imagined in my wildest dreams. It was all white around and nothing could be seen. People were terrified about what’s going to happen next.

We reached Lukla after walking for 2 days at a stretch and what seems like a never-ending boulevard. Indian Air Force rescued us and took us safely to Kathmandu and then Delhi. I hugged Captain Vikrant (extreme left) and thanked him generously.

  1. Fine way of telling, and pleasant piece of writing to obtain information about my presentation subject, which i am going to convey in college.
