The idea of travel to Ladakh was to go beyond, explore the places where only 1% of tourist, around the world, visit in Ladakh. We had to carry 60kg of luggage along with 80 liters of pertrol on Thunderbird since there was no assitance in those remote areas. Daredevil stuff !!

Even the army was surprised to spot us at some locations not expecting any travellers in those part (Requires Inner Line Permit to travel).

We battled through passes, rough terrain, mountain sickness, melting ice and showering stones, broken brakes and damaged shock-ups to complete 2000km of travel. It was a soul seraching journey, extending our limits and ready to face any situation with open mind.

Rough Travel

We made friends in Army gaurding at the posts (they never made us leave without serving), locals who told us the stories of their life in ladakh and the travellers asking us directions :)

Mountain tops of various shades, galactic skies opening above your head and amazing lakes changing colors with time, Ladakh is a must visit for every Indian.

About The Author

Working in IT as professional and avid traveler by heart. Quit the job in 2014 to travel across India to explore untouched and less visited areas in India. This travel included remote locations of Ladakh, less traveled areas of Punjab, Uttarakhand,Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Kanyakumari on various road trips. Likes to travel by all modes and no restriction on company. On many occasions travel has given me amazing friends with memorable moments.
