2015 has been PEASANT’S KING’s biggest year to date as April saw their first UK tour as support to rising indie sensations Young Kato. Hot on the tail of the mammoth 18-date stint, they were announced as 1 of 12 BBC Gorwelion/Horizons acts, a joint scheme between BBC Wales and The Arts Council of Wales that promotes home-grown talent. They’ve since gone on to play X Music Festival, Hay Festival, Liverpool Sound City and Truck Festival.

Signing to Visible Noise in 2013 to release reissues of double EP bundle KINGDOM andFOUR WALLS ARE HOME, lead track ANTIDOTES perked up the ears of BBC Introducing landing airplay from Fearne Cotton, Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Greg James and Scott Mills. Further backing landed PEASANT’S KING a sub-headlining slot on the BBC Introducing stage at 2013’s Reading and Leeds. Widespread praise for their feel-good performance landed supports to Twin Atlantic, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Gabrielle Aplin. VEVO also invited PEASANT’S KING to showcase their previous single PROMISED LAND on their hotly anticipated talent platform DSCVR.
