An all- girl’s trip is something every girl should have at the top of her list before graduating. And we planned a trip to Manali before separating into different walks of life. The city welcomed us with its mighty mountains, beautiful conifers, and rough stream of water gushing from the mountains running beside us like a faithful dog guiding our way. I felt elated into a different high, where I could talk to the mountains, run with the water and the roads looked never ending as if would open up into the sparkling blue Sky.
Paragliding in the Somnath valley and river rafting in the Beas was an experience to be relived a hundred times in a lifetime. The curvy roads in the hill station led us to old Manali, where we visited cafes that served hash brownies and sheesha and made acquaintance with Israeli people who openly spoke to us about their life and culture.
They say “heaven is a place on earth”. Well the place proved it right with its hypnotising atmosphere and beautiful scenery, which allows you and your thoughts to soar high into a world of the hills, and all that it holds.
