A riveting Urdu storytelling tradition that died decades ago, Danish Husain and Mahmood Farooqui are bringing it back to us in the form of their show Dastangoi. They will be presenting two exciting tales in this form of storytelling – Dastan-e-Chouboli, which is an entertaining story of a Rajasthani princess who will only marry a man who can make her speak four times in one night. The second dastan (story) that the duo will present is around the life and times of prolific Pakistani Urdu writer Saadat Hasan Manto. Dastangoi will perform in Mumbai, Pune and Delhi.
