Trudging to the top of a mountain, staring at nothing but your shoes all the way, isn’t our idea of a trek. We like treks where playing in waterfalls is mandatory and gravity does the walking for us. Which is why we put together a complete downhill trek, that makes it super easy for everyone to get out and grab some green.
Weekends are made for wandering, and with the monsoons bringing to life everything around us, where better to satiate your appetite for the outdoors other than the famous hill station of Matheran. Unlike the regular weekend crowd, you won’t hiking up to Matheran. We are going downhill baby! Cab it to the top, and let gravity take walk us down.
Stroll on the open meadows of Garbett, cross fresh water streams, encounter rustic villages along the way, and let the fresh wind and crisp rain blow your mind. And finally, walk along the shore of the pristine Bhivpuri lake before finding a spot to dip our feet in and sit down for lunch. Ah, this is what Instagram posts are made of.
