My friends planned this rejuvenating trip to Patan Mahal on June 20, this year. Jaipur and summer does not match but Patan Mahal and fun surely does. 11 of us stayed in royal interconnected rooms, with a huge kitchen farm, picturesque view of a deep well amidst the banana trees and huge gates leading to the jungle further. Next was the star of the trip, trekking to Badal Mahal. O my God it was as thrilling as watching Game of Thrones. The way this palace and township is planned & built is commendable. We trekked on the God made hill route and reached this extremely galvanizing queens palace. Till now we have visited palaces on the top of a hill but this one is brilliantly designed, hollowed the hill from the top till bottom and made three floors, when you enter inside. This was carved, cool and catchy palace of our history. We all trekked down so delighted and danced on the best tunes in our cosmic area being explored. The Maru-Gurjar handmade art on the wall, the flower-shaped pool and the goose bumps to see this Indian version of Neuschwanstein castle… truly it’s a must go!
